Chinese teacher visit

The Academy was pleased to have the opportunity to have Sophia visit year 7 and 8 classes and talk to them about life and school in China. Sophia is from our partner school in Beijing, China.

Year 7 students produced a project booklet about Hull, the Academy and the local area for her to take back to her students. Pen friend links will also be made in September as a result of her visit.

Ben ‘I had my name written in Chinese. That was really good.’ James thought ‘It was a really good learning experience’. Michael ‘Sophia taught us some Chinese; I found it quite easy to count in Chinese.
