Extended Day Singing Group Raise The Roof
This evening pupils taking part in the Singing Extended Day activity put on a fantastic performance in the theatre to parents, staff and pupils.
No one would have thought that many of the girls involved had never performed in front of a live audience before. They each took it in turn to sing a range of songs, old and new. Their confidence and style captured the audience. The performance culminated in a moving group rendition of Something Inside So Strong.
Extended Day Teacher, Mrs Coulman, said "All girls sang beautifully and with confidence, we can't believe how well they have come on over the last five weeks. We are all so very proud of each and every one of them. Mr. Bennett is now after Beth Carter's first album release!"
Following the performance Principal, Mr Chubb, described the performance was "Inspirational".
