The new Archbishop Sentamu Academy is set to open in September 2011. The new building contains a wide range of facilities that can be hired by the local community, business and voluntary groups. The facilities include astroturf and specialist pitches, 350 seat theatre, Mac IT suites, dance and recording studios, sports hall, tennis courts and conference facilities. Creative Computing Courses for ASA Parents and Carers: learn with your child!
4/5 x 90 minute sessions per Unit with 3 units per term.
Each Unit to include:
Regional Apple Training for classroom practitioners, support staff and youth workers
From September 2011 we are running Wednesday sessions during termtime - 90 mins per session. 4.00 - 5.30pm. Attendees can pick all, some or a mix of sessions. Sessions are designed to show what students can achieve using a range of media and software. All sessions will make use of the Academy's iMac facilities but no prior experience of the Mac is expected. These courses are aimed specifically for those who work in Education but may meet the needs of others groups or individuals.
