Archbishop Sentamu Academy Celebrating Performances 2011
Students and staff celebrate 4th successive year of record exam results.
Students were delighted to discover that they had all obtained 5 or more GCSE grades including English and Maths, giving them all the chance to continue to further study.
Moreover, 93% gained 5 or more GCSE grades at A*-C (up from 79% last year), with 47% gaining 5 or more GCSE grades at A*-C including English and Maths (up from 39% last year).
Academy Principal Andrew Chubb had this to say about the record results:
"We are delighted with these results, which are down to the tremendous efforts of staff, students, patents and governors. Many of our students are now returning to our sixth form, and we look forward to their continuing success in our magnificent new building"
